The Vila-real Town Council will organise the New Year’s Eve celebration next to the Villarreal CF stadium for the first time
The square outside the Estadio de la Cerámica will host the New Year’s Eve celebration in Vila-real next 31st December. For the first time, the Town Council has chosen this special venue to organise a popular evening that will feature the participation of Villarreal CF.
The event, free and open to all residents and visitors, will provide a space to bid farewell to 2025 and welcome 2026 in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
The programme will kick off with an afternoon music session from 6:30pm CEST with DJ David Sáez, before the party resumes at 11:30pm CEST with a performance by the group Five, leading into the traditional midnight chimes.
This will be a very special start to the year, as thanks to Villarreal CF and in collaboration with the production company Envidea, the bell tower of the Arciprestal Church of Vila-real will be projected onto the façade of the Submarino’s iconic stadium, serving as the clock for the countdown to 2026. The football pitch will also act as a canvas to project other images of the city. Following this, the public can continue enjoying live music from Five, Edgar Valera and Luisen until 4:30am, when the celebration will come to an end.
Charity wristbands and sustainability
In addition, the Town Council of Vila-real, through the Departments of Festivals and Citizen Participation, has announced that wristbands will be sold for one euro each, with all proceeds going to a local social organisation. These wristbands will also provide discounts at the following participating establishments: Bar Madrigal, La Taberna de Milagros, Cervecería Los Maños and Kebab Estambul.
Wristbands will be available from 22nd December at:
- The Town Council headquarters
- La Casa de la Festa
- The headquarters of the neighbourhood associations
- Participating businesses near La Cerámica
As part of the commitment to sustainability and the environment, attendees will receive a reusable cup for their drinks.
