Villarreal CF’s French‑Congolese defender, Willy Kambwala, has received medical clearance after completing the recovery process corresponding to the surgical intervention he underwent following a hamstring tear in his left leg.

The Yellow Submarine footballer, who was injured on 31^st July in the match against Genoa in Oviedo, underwent surgery on 7^th August performed by Dr Lasse Lempainen at the NEO Clinic in Turku (Finland), under the supervision of Villarreal CF’s medical services.

Lucía Gómez has been diagnosed with instability in her right knee following a fall suffered in September, which revealed a dysfunction in the anterior cruciate ligament graft. The player underwent surgery performed by Dr. Del Valle at IMED Valencia to stabilise the joint.

Villarreal CF player Juan Foyth underwent surgery this Monday on the rupture of his left Achilles tendon, which occurred during last Saturday’s league match against Real Madrid on 24th January.

The operation, carried out by doctors Mikel Sánchez and Antonio Maestro, took place at MiKS Hospital in Vitoria, accompanied by and under the supervision of Villarreal CF’s Medical Services.

The Yellows forward sustained the injury during the league match against Deportivo Alavés at the Estadio de la Cerámica and was operated on 15_th November 2024 by Dr Joan Carles Monllau in Barcelona, under the supervision of Villarreal CF’s medical services.

Cape Verdean defender Logan Costa has undergone surgery today for a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, an injury sustained during the first pre-season match against FC Basel on 19^th July.
