The Submarine earns their first win of the season in LALIGA Genuine Moeve
Villarreal EDI (team with intellectual disabilities) enjoyed a new day of football, togetherness and team spirit in the second phase of LALIGA Genuine Moeve, held last weekend in Cádiz. The Groguets once again represented the club with pride and passion, showcasing the inclusive spirit that defines this one‑of‑a‑kind competition.
This weekend, the Yellow side played two matches, against UD Almería and CF Fuenlabrada. The Groguets fell 1–3 to the Andalusian outfit, but earned their first win of the season in the competition with a 1–2 victory over the Madrid‑based side. Beyond the results, both matches were an example of camaraderie, respect and sportsmanship. The team also enjoyed special moments of togetherness, learning and celebration that characterise this tournament.
The Submarine will play the third phase of LALIGA Genuine Moeve on 25th and 26th April in Granada.
